Accessibility statement

Last updated 1 September 2026.

The standard aimed for

This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a real target with real tests behind it rather than a claim, and it was designed in from the start rather than retrofitted.

What that means in practice

Every color pair on the site clears AA contrast at the size it is used, checked with contrast maths rather than by eye. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline. Headings run in order without skipping levels. Images carry alternative text. Form fields have real labels rather than placeholder text pretending to be labels.

Motion

This site uses animation. All of it is disabled automatically if your device is set to reduce motion, which is a system setting on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. Nothing on the site flashes, autoplays or moves in a way that could trigger a vestibular response.

Without JavaScript

Every page renders completely with JavaScript disabled. The navigation, the content and all links work. Only the scroll animations and the mobile menu toggle depend on it.

Known limitations

Any third party content embedded in an article, such as a video player, is subject to that provider accessibility rather than this site. Where a choice exists, providers with better accessibility records are preferred.

If something does not work for you

Email info@palmprojects.com and describe what happened and what you were using. Accessibility problems are treated as bugs and fixed with the same priority as anything else that is broken.
